Luxury for me is a hand-made product. To really learn a craft takes time, and nowadays, time is luxury.
Spending a lot of time on your work can be a luxury. For my project Paperholm, I set a long term timescale to allow myself to develop my skills over time and really get to know the material.
What people don’t see are all the ideas that didn’t work, and the shots I took but never published. Being committed to only putting out the very best means setting high standards and then pushing them higher every time you get close.
